It was a big empty warehouse. Now it houses a farm of fish and salad vegetables. Water from the tilapia farming is used to fertilize the hydroponic-style gardening.

TL;DR - Since the Patriot Act of 2001, the government has been able to demand all your personal information and transactions from nearly any company. A strong challenge has finally made it through the courts, and these requests have been banned as unconstitutional. (With 90 days to appeal or comply.)

These National Security Letters from the FBI come with gag orders that prohibit admitting their very existence  They order a company to surrender any and all information on a customer/client without saying a word.

A well-written account of what it can be like to be a woman in a male-dominated world. This story is NOT extreme - she made it home safely. At least physically…

As for tl;dr - here’s why I think men should read it:

And then I debated whether or not to put it on Tumblr…but I decided it was important. Because in my own way, I can (unfortunately) point out exactly what is wrong with men when they don’t realize how hard it is to be a woman. How we do not have equal opportunities and freedoms in everyday life….
